2022 Champions of Commerce
The Champions of Commerce Awards honors and celebrates the leadership of individuals, businesses, and non-profits that serve as powerful champions for the good of our community. From corporate social responsibility champions to non-profit organizations that help solve the Lower Bucks County region’s greatest challenges, this event honors purposeful community leadership, efforts that make a positive impact, and strengthening the local community.

Throughout Lower Bucks County and its surrounding area, individuals and organizations are making a difference. The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce will be recognizing these exceptional people at our signature awards reception, Champions of Commerce: Making a Difference Where We Work, Live and Learn on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Jericho National Golf Club.

We need your help…
This is your opportunity to nominate a business or individual for an award. You may also nominate yourself or your business by Friday, September 9, 2022. One winner will be selected for each category by a panel. The winners will be recognized at the Champions of Commerce Awards ceremony. The nine categories and their descriptions are listed below.

Champions Nominees Must

  • Live, work or impact business in Bucks County
  • If chosen as the winner, provide a one-minute video or slideshow of their qualifying accomplishments from 2021-2022
  • Be available on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Award Categories

Community Outreach Champion
Presented to a person or business that helps the less fortunate in our community. This includes helping people who are facing a short-term crisis or who have other immediate needs. It also includes helping people to perform independently at higher levels, to live up to their potential. Nominees in this category may be those who create quality services, or those who provide resources directly.

Entrepreneur of the Year Champion
Presented to an individual who has taken a risk, persevered and succeeded.
Economic Impact Champion
Presented to a business that shows an ongoing investment in exceptional growth, new job creation and opportunities in their business and/or community, providing a vision that will impact the economy of Bucks County over the next 3 years.
Industry Innovator Champion
Presented to a business or entity that has successfully developed or implemented innovative technology.
Non-Profit Champion
Presented to a Non-Profit organization {501c3} that has made a significant impact in Bucks County with their dedication to our residents helping to make a social change.
Community Impact Champion
Presented to person or business that assists in the elevation of the quality of life in the local Lower Bucks County region ‘s community. Nominees in this category may be creators or stewards of art & community culture, or they may create or improve parks and other open spaces, plan community events and or create centers. (Educators, artist, philanthropists, architects, builders, visionaries, etc.)
Startup Champion
Presented to a business, formed after January 2021, that shows growth and development while overcoming obstacles and creating an organization and/or product from the ground up.
Workforce Development Champion
Presented to a business or group that has invested in the local Lower Bucks County region’s work force. (Including but not limited to education and training)
Young Professional of the Year
Presented to a Young Professional who is 45 or under and demonstrates personal and professional leadership and community service.
