LBCCC Holds Volunteer Recognition/Annual Meeting

Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce (LBCCC) had their annual meeting and volunteer recognition luncheon on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Washington Crossing Inn.

The event recognized outstanding members of the Chamber for their services and leadership. The event also honored Chairman Bill Koelewyn for an outstanding year as chairman, and welcomed in the new chairman elect.
When asked what the best part of being chairman was, Koelewyn replied, “The friendships, connecting the non-profit world with the business world was one of the best aspects.”

Koelewyn welcomed in the new chairman elect, Paul Clough. Clough has a member of LBCCC for 10 years and has been a founder and partner at Fresnel Partners LLC for seven years. Clough gave a speech on his vision for the upcoming year.
“I’m excited, it’s a great organization, and I’m looking forward to leading the organization,” Clough said. “The chamber is in a wonderful place right now; we have a motivated board and members on the committee. It is an exciting time to be a part of this organization.”

Clough is already looking ahead to the upcoming year. He has begun looking forward and planning for education events next year. “We are trying to get ahead of the game and make them all coordinate and really provide value.”
Minesh V. Pathak, Executive Director, gave his thoughts on the event and LBCCC, “ I am very excited to hear all the positive feedback about the chamber from our members, board members & staff. This chamber is trending in the right direction and I am proud to be the Executive Director. It’s hard to believe that a year has passed and Bill’s term is already coming to an end however the friendship will last a lifetime. I’m excited to be working with Paul as the chairman and also hear about all of his great ideas. We are ready for another excellent year ahead of us.”

Awards were given out at the luncheon, including the shining star award. Kimberly Solis, Chair of LBCCC Young Professional Committee Merchandise, Sesame Place received this award because of her outstanding enthusiasm and leadership.
