Group Health Insurance
Blue Cross® / Blue Shield® group insurance plans are available to member firms of at least two employees, to certain licensed professionals, even sole-proprietors qualify. No waiting period on prior conditions will apply and no health questions are asked. Member firms of two or more may offer up to two Independence Blue Cross plans in their coverage –Personal Choice® with Keystone Health Plan East HMO or Keystone Health Plan East POS.

Group Dental Insurance
Group level dental benefits are now available exclusively to member firms and their employees, on an individual basis. Dominion Dental Services is offering our members two types of plans – one for individuals (enrolled and administered over the Internet), and one for groups of three or more (using monthly group billing). You don’t have to be an employer group to get quality dental benefits. The Dominion “eDental” program provides automated direct payment for individuals.

Aetna Medicare
The age 65+ population is growing dramatically. Aetna’s Individual Medicare plans provide an alternative to expensive supplemental plans. Plus, Aetna Medicare plans provide medical and prescription drug coverage all in one plan, for just one plan premium. These plans are available to LBCCC Members, as well as, friends and family of chamber members.

Employee Assistance Program
This service provides counseling and referral services for employees and their families for help in matters involving addiction, money, marital problems, domestic or job relationships, fitness programs and stress management. “EAP’s” build productivity and improve employee relations. Counseling is provided by the Bucks County Employee Assistance Consortium.

Currently, over 150 members offer special services and discounts. Some offer discounts as high as 20%. Some members also offer free consultations to fellow Chamber members!

Group Life & Disability Insurance
A recent survey conducted by the Small Business Administration highlighted Disability as one of the primary factors in the failure of a typical business. The SBA found that roughly 48% of the businesses surveyed failed due to a prolonged sickness or accident to a key employee.
Chamber members are eligible to receive a significant discount on Short Term, Intermediate and Long-Term Disability coverage. They can elect group life insurance benefits as well. Both the disability coverage and the life insurance are guaranteed issue.
